  1. Swap refined grains for whole grains - steel cut oats, barley, bran, binds soluble fiber to cholesterol so it is excreted

  2. Add nuts and seeds - a handful every day

  3. Legumes - swap or pair meat with cooked beans and lentils - about 100 grams (1 to 2 handfuls) grams per day

  4. As long as not allergic to soy, Give soy foods a try. Tofu, tempeh, edamame with spices like chili oil

  5. Get more berries and citrus fruits into diet


Soak grains nuts and seeds overnight
